Sharp, non-technical staff buried in repetitive work
The ask: "Automate the grunt work" that was consuming a team of smart, capable people.
The deeper diagnosis: They didn't need one automation — they needed leverage that compounds. We set up a per-user AI agent for every team member, taught them to build their own skills, and built tooling so skills could be discovered and shared across the team.
When one accountant built a skill for running quarterly reports, the whole department inherited it overnight. She gets the credit. The org gets the lift.

A Nonprofit Health System in Southern California

The ask: Provider search took six seconds per query. We refactored the architecture; load times dropped under 200ms — a 97% reduction.
The deeper diagnosis: Speed wasn't the real barrier. Search filters used clinical taxonomies — "Cardiothoracic Surgery" means nothing to most patients. We routed the system's existing taxonomies through an AI layer so patients describe what they need in plain language and the right filters apply automatically.
Resulted in a signed AI innovation contract with the health system's leadership.

The ask: Proposal responses were slow and bottlenecked on senior staff. We streamlined drafting with AI-assisted analysis and writing tools.
The deeper diagnosis: The real constraint wasn't writing — it was access to institutional knowledge locked in executives' heads. We built a semantic knowledgebase of years of proposal history, searchable conversationally, and trained the entire proposal team on it.

National advocacy organization
The ask: Modernize the Audio Description Project's digital infrastructure.
The deeper diagnosis: For the blind and low-vision community, AI isn't a productivity tool — it's an accessibility sea change, and the emerging agent ecosystem risks rebuilding visual-first barriers. We're developing a grant-funded MCP server implementation so AI agents can serve this community by design, not retrofit.
